Immigration Attorney, May-Wong Chou, obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in German Literature and Juris Doctorate degree in Law from the University of Florida. She became a member of the Florida Bar in 1994. As she was born in The Netherlands and being an immigrant herself, May-Wong Chou has a natural affinity for immigration law. She started working as a law clerk at an immigration law firm while still in law school. Once she graduated from law school, she continued working at the same law firm, Jose E. Latour & Associates, P.A. as an Associate Attorney. In 1996, Attorney Chou established her own law firm.
The law practice handles business
immigration cases, including but not limited to temporary and permanent
employment visas for professionals, multinational executives and managers,
skilled workers as well as artists and journalists. Investment visas and visas for individuals of
extraordinary ability are also included.
In addition, family immigration cases make up part of the practice,
which include but are not limited to marriage cases, fiancé cases and cases
involving domestic violence. Citizenship
and consular processing cases are also part of the practice.
